I know noise-canceling headphones aren't very popular here (for the good reason that most of them don't sound very good), but they do have their uses. I just wrote a head-to-head review of these two and I thought maybe someone here might be interested. Posted it to my blog:

Nice review.
I listened to the Senn 450's and the ANC7's at a recent Hifi show and opted for the ANC7's. Partly on price and on size.
I wanted something with good sound and like Audio Technica - I also like Sennheiser though having the 650's at home.

I'm not in a position to compare using / living with anything else though as yet.
I like the ANC7 plug in cable and all in the cup solution. Batt life seems very good.
I use mine on the train - they do a pretty good job of blocking out the carriage mech / people noise - better than some ATH-ES7's I did try for a short while.
Yes, I have fallen asleep with them on and nearly missed my station

They do suffer from some GSM interference - hope 3G takes over completely now as 3G does not seem to affect it...
