Is there any Head-fiers which own the HD800 in the East Midlands area (anywhere else) that wouldn't mind travelling to my place in Nottingham and trying there cans against my PS1000's?   CA 840c would be used as a source and the SPL Auditor as the amp.

Does anyone know how these will sound together? I use a PS GCHA at the moment with my PS1000's, will the Auditor sound better instead of the GCHA?  Does the Auditor and Phonitor sound the same as a headphone amp? I will be using my Cambridge Audio 840c  as a source.   Thanks in advance,

if you own/owned the rs-1's and gs1000's would you sale them to raise funds to buy the ps1000's? would you be happier with just the ps1000's over the other two? are the ps1000's that much better then gs1000's?

could someone please advise me if i was to use a portable amp like a airhead by the headphone out of dap (sony nwz-818), would i gain in sound quality or would it just amp the volume due to the hp line out?
