Aren't you getting noise plugging right into the controller? All IEMs I've tried plugging right into the controller gave quite a bit of noise! So now I use Qudelix via an APTX Adaptive adapter going into the PS5's front USB slot

In my experience these two things are always true: The magnitude of the rise of the pinna gain will tell you how shouty or energetic an IEM is for instance in the first pic I've attached of a shouty IEM And the location of the rise of the bass will tell you how muddy or bass-bleeding an IEM is...
