Audeze MM-100
The reference in this case would be the mm-500. Right now it looks Like the 3k Region is similar to the audeze crbn… But hard to read because of this compensation.- HAydin

I think this is the old LCD-1 (First audeze headphone) i measured my LCD-1 with in ear microphones, the polarity was inverted.- HAydin

There are many headphones with inverted polarity. Some Audeze Models (LCD-1, CRBN) also Stax headphones…- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
I'm afraid that Audeze won't change this and will continue to ship with glued synthetic earpads. I hope that in the future there will be at least separate leather earpads available from Audeze that lasts longer. Until then I will skip this, this is not a professional product for me at the moment.- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
they just said "gel filled ear pads" and no other information about it. Some retailers just say "leather ear pads". This is a product aimed for professionals. We work many hours on the road with headphones. Synthetic leather is a bad choice in my opinion. As I said, even the cheaper LCD-1 had...- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
it looks like the ear pads on the mm-100 have a different structure than the maxwells. Maybe it's real leather... I hope Audeze will make a statement on this, because it's still not clear and we want to know what we're buying. Also, I have the leather cleaning kit from Audeze. If it's synthetic...- HAydin

I hope not, that would be a reason for me not to buy it because synthetic is often not durable enough for daily use on the road. can an owner here confirm this?- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
I would never use headphones or even nearfield speakers for mastering, as they exaggerate the transients. The results will sound different on good midfield speakers in a good room than you intended. But if you have no other choice, I would use headphones with a flat a bass. Audeze are pretty...- HAydin

The LCD-5 and MM-500 have slightly less treble than neutral and therefore bit warmer, was this also the case with the MM-100?- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
The MM-500 is still not quite neutral compared to my flat Genelec speakers in a treated room. As you said, missing about 3db in the treble and also 1-2db in the bass. Also a bit too much ear gain at 3khz. But easy to fix with EQ. EDIT: I don't believe in headphones that are tuned to a...- HAydin

Audeze LCD-1
I have the LCD-1 and it is not neutral at all, if the mm-100 has similar tuning then it would be a bit disappointing for me, but I hope the tuning is based on the MM-500. what I would like to see is linear Bass from 20hz-1khz.- HAydin

S5X Immersive Headphones by OLLO Audio
Today I tried the S5X and I personally don't like them. Coming from planar headphones, this headphone feels slow and lacks in detail. The frequency response is linear for my ears from 20Hz to about 4khz, also the lower ear gain is optimal for me, as I am too sensitive at 3khz. From about 5khz...- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
Well, If you've been doing this for decades and it's standard for measurements then you should know that most headphones sound different even if they go flat down to 20hz. it is completely pointless that I continue to comment here, I am out.- HAydin

do you see on your "objective measurements" the response time of the driver, resonances (waterfall diagram), distortion, step response, Groupdelay....? i can list much more things like this. If you want to go scientific, then do it right. Just looking at the frequency graph is not enough.- HAydin

Audeze MM-100
You can't tell how a pair of headphones sounds from simple frequency response measurements. Even if two headphones have the same FR, they never sound the same. The Nectar Bees may even have better bass than the Audezes (I don't know, I've never tried them) BUT they are massively lacking in...- HAydin
