Hey guys,   I recently bought a pair of ATH-M50's and I've been really enjoying them. However, I've been using them with my computer a lot and I've noticed that the headphone jack tends to get quite hot sometimes. Is this a possible risk to my headphone jack?

Hmm, well, Kukuk, what do you think of the M50s vs. Grado SR80s?    And are you sure about the noise leakage? When I'm in the library I play my music at a really low level, but I would hate for it to leak.

Well I guess they might not have to be closed air. I use Px-100s quite a bit in the library with lower sounds and it hasnt been a problem. Is there really a big difference between, let's say, Grado S80s and M50's or DJ100's? Enough of a difference to go for open over closed? Because I can just...

Well as I said, I'm willing to spend a little more, maybe get monitors and a subwoofer. But I do need help if I'm to get that. Again, can anyone suggest good monitors and a good subwoofer for music + games + movies for 100-250?

I listen to mostly alternative I guess, but I also listen to a little bit of metal, and progressive and classic rock. However, I'd like the game sounds to be good as well. But I assume they will be since they are computer speakers.

Is there a big performance difference between the 5.1 and 2.1? And are the swans that much better than the former two?
