I've given up on getting tidal connect to play nicely with the zen stream. I'm not sure if ifi or tidal is at fault but whatever I've moved on to Roon. When in AIO everything works perfectly with Roon but in Roon only mode the front circular lights turn off and therefore don't show network...

Hi all, has anyone with an he1000v2 (or any other hek) replaced their pads with new stock ultrapads after a few years and noticed any sonic improvement? I bought an hekv2 used and it's seen a few years of use, just wondering if it's worth grabbing a new pair of ultrapads and popping them on.

Pulled the trigger blind on a used v2 (non stealth) without having the opportunity to demo and it arrived today. Will post an in depth comparison to Arya stealth soon but first impressions of the v2 are wow :)

Agreed, I was also a big skeptic of the whole amp/dac scaling conversation. Until I heard the chord mojo 2 and it blew me away. Amazing piece of kit that outperforms anything i've heard before.

I've also had that thought! He1000 series was "stealthified" way before everything else was, right? (other than the Susvara of course) My (very speculative) suspicion is if the he1000stealth and he1000SE really are the same driver (with the same magnets?) they have really gone to town with...

Hi all, new poly user and struggling with lack of how to vids online. Is it possible to stream system audio from a Windows 10 desktop to the Poly? For example for gaming, videos, YouTube etc? or is there a way to stream music from a pc that doesn't involve roon or airplay?

I completely agree!! Everytime I switch between the X3 and 560s I change my preference for either soundstage or linearity respectively. Very hard decision.

I also have the X3 and 560s, and use them both for gaming and classical/jazz. For those they both excel. It seems like you enjoy more vocal forward music so like you say the 6xx is probably more your cup of tea. Id recommend just try and forget about it and enjoy the cans for what they are, can...

Yeah I understand, would just be nice for the opportunity to buy/have a smaller cable. Not even 'portable' but something more reasonable to use for a desktop amp (which i assume many if not most of purchasers would be using).

Third party cable would be a game changer, preferably one that isn't the length of an Olympic swimming pool....
