E500s do great with my MP3 player. If you are worried about the cable (Mircophonics and positioning), then I would reccomend the E5's. As long as its lossless, it sounds good.

Hello Monk. I can fit quite a bit in my jean pockets. One time I put my HR Mirco and my massive MP3 player in my pocket while listening to music on my HD's. Looked VERY awkward walking around with all of that.
