I experience the same using iOS. This was one of the main features I was looking forward to using, but after a few minutes, I can no longer understand the person on the other line. Yanking the dongle, would render this feature useless, as I'd like to play games and be on the phone at the same...- petahbyte

I didn't have whitenoise on the steelseries pro wireless. Are you sure you don't have the mic monitoring / sidetone on max? I use both, the Penrose definitely sounds better for music and movies, however the ease of use, wireless range, and replaceable batteries of the Pro Wireless is a huge...- petahbyte

I'm sure it's been said but how unfortunate that we have to change our existing hardware and/or environment in order to support this poor implementation of a wireless headset.- petahbyte

Little rant. I was playing Escape from Tarkov. I'm literally 1-2ft from the dongle. I've had the connection drop 4-5 times during a 30 minute raid. Really frustrating. At times I almost died because I couldn't hear my opponent sneaking up on me.- petahbyte

@Audeze Do you have any updates on the crackling/popping noise? It's quite annoying.- petahbyte

Not sure how much of a "how to video" this is. Step 1: Tear the **** out of the old earpads and remove them. Step 2: Stick on new ear pads. When I removed mine, I could put the old pads back on. Their method is pretty destructive.- petahbyte

I was increase comfort by adding some aftermarket pads. I removed the original ear cushions, kept the plastic piece, trimmed the edge a bit to create a channel for the new earpads to slip into. Feels a lot better. It's not the prettiest job, but you can't see it and it works - petahbyte

That's awesome. I did notice a bit of sound degradation when using aftermarket brainwavz pads, probably due to the lack of a seal as you mentioned. I was hoping someone would create a 3d printed piece that would snap on in a similar to the stock ear pad, but allow channel so that aftermarket...- petahbyte
