    Neumann NDH 30

Just a quick comment. I really like these for mixing because after 30 years of being a bass player and audio engineer, I have developed tinnitus and these can let me really hear detail without emphasizing the frequencies that trigger my tinnitus. They may be the best cans for me for extended...

Things to consider before getting your custom IEM impressions done. The perfect fit.

Well, I'm waiting on my Sensaphonics to see how they go. I was encouraged to move my jaw around as I do when performing. I love the sound of my Future Sonics, but the lack of a really good seal is driving me nuts. I've sent them back a number of times and feel like I'm just annoying them at this...

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Don't worry, after a few years of cranking IEMs, you won't have to bother about the finer nuances of the high end!    Just kidding. Sort of. I've chimed in on this thread a long time ago and it's been reiterated many times before. While they can be very pleasing for enjoying prerecorded audio...

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Quote: Don't write off the MG5Pros. As I've stated before, I think that if you are looking for the slam of the MG6Pros and the balanced spectrum of other iems, they are worth considering. Despite the lower price, I don't think they are less than.

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Quote: I hope that's a little clearer. I wish that 4:30 in the morning after coming home from a gig wasn't the only time I had to be able to check in here, but there it is. I'm not sure where you thought the second mix-up is. I think my references are all correct now.

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Quote: Sorry, it was very late after a gig. Plus sleep has been at a premium with my new 4 month old son. Long story short, if you find the MG6Pro to be inadequate due to a less than accurate frequency response, try the MG5Pro. I'm hoping that that basic message got across.

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Quote: I believe that I have addressed this very issue, if not in this thread, then in my MG5Pro mini-review. I will state up front that I am a professional listener, as a bass player and location recording engineer. Sometimes I rue the day that I decided to take that path because it has...

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

I'm curious about how everyone feels about these with iPods, iPhones and computer outputs. I find that they are so sensitive that I have the devices all the way at the bottom of the volume scale. I also hear a fair amount of background noise from the device. When I put an attenuator in line, it...

which top tier iems can produce decent sub bass rumble?

Quote: The Atrios have nothing on the MG6Pros. Seriously. It's like a pair of Meyer double 18 subwoofers.

which top tier iems can produce decent sub bass rumble?

Well, I wouldn't call it rumble, because that word implies an ill-defined low end that isn't really deep and is big and muddy, but Future Sonics MG6Pro have incredible bass. I don't think you can do better. The rest of the frequency spectrum isn't bad, either.

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Quote:   Well, it's probably more accurate to describe it as break-in rather than burn-in. Burn-in usually refers to electronics, especially tube electronics where a circuit has the potential to be unstable before the tubes settle in or you want to just run the device for a period of time...

IEM's with BEST bass response £100-£250

I found the 650s to be disappointing in the low end and the HD 600s to be much better in that regard. However, I think if you want the last word in IEM low end, you should look at the Future Sonics MG6Pro. As a bass player, I use these on stage and am very conscious of low end issues. Aside from...

    Future Sonic MG5Pro experience

This is my review I posted at Gearslutz. Since then, I've broken them in a bit and they just sound amazing. Unless you need really high sensitivity or the very last word in low end, I would recommend these over the MG6Pros. It might be because they fit me better than my 6's, but there it is.  ...

Help me find an IEM <$250

Future Sonic Atrios with SofterWear sleeves. I think the package deal is $275 but it's worth every penny. Great IEMs. With this setup you'll have the option of using custom molded sleeves, which improve the fit and bass hugely as well as foam tips or whatever, if you don't want to be sealed off...

    Upgrading from Atrios

Quote: I would agree with this. The Future Sonics SofterWear sleeves are a great investment. The seal is really tight and increases the bass but not at the expense of the rest of the sound. I've since moved on to the MG6Pros, which are at a whole other level, but they are outside your...

Which Custom Fit earphone , Futuresonic Vs. Westone ES5,will give me bass and sub bass when I need it?

Quote: I don't know if you've made your decision yet, but you want the MG6Pros. The low end is pretty stupendous. I use mine for monitoring on stage. I play bass. I need bass and I like bass that feels like it's coming out of the ground. Last Saturday night I played the Boulder Theater...
