thanks will try them. i did get oem pads straight from japan but the holes are too small for my big ears and i feel like there's something weird going on with the sealing due to no cup adjustments :\

any pads that works well with the a2000z? bought a second hand pair but not entirely sure if the pads had been flatten over the years from storage (which the previous owner did by putting it on a headphone stand) so it fits kinda wonky and not sealing properly..

what's the consensus on sennheiser true wireless vs the sony wf1000xm3? i love the first gen ones but the connection was a bit shotty at times. i would like to replace my sennheiser with these since i really dislike how sennheiser handles the rechargeable case.

Thanks. Think I'll just grab the Ares II due to the already positive feedback with the 8.2. The Tri-Metal is out of my price range and the price on the Ares II is just right. I never really liked the molded ear part but maybe I'll work something out.

Any suggestions on whether to go with copper or SPC for an upgrade cable? I was looking at Effect Audio Ares II but I need a thinner cable since I wear glasses :\ so I am considering plussound x-series.

Any suggestions on an alternative DAC for the LC besides the Mojo? I was looking at Schiit's Multibit stuff for a while but a bit worried that it won't pair well like the Mojo.

I wanted to test to see how well they can run straight out a smartphone (Google Pixel). I am pretty amazed that it scales pretty good on my Google Pixel. It can't compare against the Mojo or my LC but overall I am a happy camper running straight out of my phone.

Pretty excited as my impressions arrived at CA's lab today. Now the wait begins... Waiting is hard :(

  I do agree that it does have a bit of weight but the elears has to be the most comfortable headphones i ever wore besides the hd600/650. i wear the elears for more than 2 hours straight everyday and i never get any discomfort.
