AMP11 mk1 pairs well with sharp treble and less 3kHz pinna gain than Harman target. Excellent with my LZ A6. Not so great with KBear Believe.

This is exactly what I hear in KBEAR Believe: Harman-ish sound with slightly rolled-off subbass, slightly shouty at 3kHz, and excellent speed of the drivers. The shoutyness disappears with DX300 + AMP12.

So I have customised as advised. 15cm of 7N OCC Litz copper cable, 3x for L+, 3x for R+, 2x for ground, total 8 cores beautifully hand braided. The two connectors feel dense and heavy. Cost me $15.2 and works wonderfully. Thank you!

LZ A6 with A7's red filters and Sennheiser IE 40 Pro's tips (foams included). To me, the sound is slightly technically better than Monarch. I just wish LZ wouldn't have made A7 so...safe. There is virtually no tinkering with A7, it is very good as is, but lags behind A6 in technicality.
