Look! MOONDROP's First HiFi Smartphone, MIAD01
OK will do - I notice sometimes UAPP doesn't always detect a hi-res dac when it is advertised by the phone manufacturer. For example, on my Sony Xperia 10 V although the phone is advertised as having hi-res, UAPP doesn't detect it at all. Is there any other way of knowing for certain?- lordearl

Do you guys mean using UAPP with the internal dac/amp or with an external dongle/DAP/DAC? Just checking so I know what variations to test for y'all 👍- lordearl

FOSTEX T50RPmk4 RP
The question is what other cans will receive the new drivers. T60RP has always been my favourite. I'm guessing there's going to be another edition out soon!- lordearl

Look! MOONDROP's First HiFi Smartphone, MIAD01
Sony XPERIA 10 V is my current phone and I definitely find the 3.5mm jack has better sound than the LDAC Bluetooth, however neither sound is even close to my old LG V50 and Hisense A7 CC phones (gathering dust). Then, comparing all of them to DAPs like Fiio M15s / HIBY R8 I find it still worth...- lordearl

Spot on - this is why I ordered it immediately, what is there to lose when we are typically paying 3x this price for the latest Samsung or Apple overpriced junk? If nothing else, this device will push the larger phone companies to include more information about their headphone outputs on the...- lordearl

Edifier Stax Spirit S3
I find it's great for all use cases except on a plane. It lacks the isolation required to block out all the engine noise. So if you don't travel on planes a whole lot then the passive isolation should be good enough.- lordearl

Thanks all! @Kyonnie which epoxy resin do you use and how do you dispense it in very small amounts? I've used superglue with limited success - the flow from the tube is very quick and it seems to dry even faster than it flows, leaving a big mess!- lordearl

Thanks mate. This is very helpful. For some reason the links don't seem to be working - it just lands at the Ali Express home page? Also do the sockets need to be glued in? If so, what is the best glue to use?- lordearl

Anyone know of 14.8mm shells that come with MMCX connectors, but have the leads already soldered? Plenty of 15.4mm ones around the place but I cannot find any 14.8mm shells with pre-soldered leads!- lordearl

Earbuds Round-Up
I've not found this to be the case with SMABAT - I've ranked 17 sets of earbuds now and whilst they aren't the best, they are far from the worst. (Just in defense of SMABAT here as I feel they do a lot to push the boundaries for earbud fans!). They probably are tuned for different tastes. Lun...- lordearl
