I'm looking for the same but under $50.   I've enjoyed the Hd201(broke) and just got the monoprice earbuds 8320.  Want something with more soundstage.

ive read the "new" white box, light blue top m50's are more balanced than the old ones(dark blue box). I don't feel like its bloated with bass at all and i ttested for all different kinds of music.

One question, the cable was quite long on them as any other cable...i was wondering if this is safe to do. I know the bends might internally break a cable but....     safe? or just keep it coiled up like how it came?

I agree with you guys that they dont look nice, but, if they are concealed well, have good isolation and good sound quality, thats all im after.

I had a pair of e2cs and its not in my ear that bigs me, its the fact the the bulb shape does not fit snugly.(the tips work fine, but then the bulb shape is just to big. For most people, it can fit perfectly, but for my ears it doesnt fit at all and stick out.). Its so big and it just hangs out...

Yea that was the site i was looking at and i saw the two models(the shure and teh westone models) were exactly identical. That doubles my chances of finding a pair.

I havent tried the er6's before, so, i wouldnt know how they would fit. They look alittle big though, and my ear canal is small so, its hard to find a good fit. I was just thinking bout the e3c's because they look alittle smaller. if i had the money to dish out, i would get the etymotic er-4.

Its not really bout the quality im worried about, because they all have decent quality. .(I listen to classic rock mostly so, yea). But, when i travel, i just want to block out the noises. I want something i can wear for a long time, w/o hurting my ears and blocks the noises around me.
