It looks like an android bug I had on my phone where the phone was scanning non stop my sd card resulting in a battery drain. You should try reset/format the r6 and compare.

Can a bad cable cause channel imbalance ? Out of the balanced output of my WM1A, the voices are not centered but on the right, and when I try the SE output (not the same cable) the problem is fixed. I'm waiting for another 4.4 balanced to see if it's coming from the output itself or the cable.
