I recently bought my 2nd PR2 for 25€ (a steal). I didn't found that usual screamy treble at all. It's well contained and super airy, in a good way. Almost as good and enjoyable as the Artti T10 actually, in a more detailed way. Not harsh at all. Quality bass and very good mids also. I use foam...- BrunoC

So, these are the reviews we are waiting: - KZ ZS10 PRO 2 - KZ AS16 Pro X - CCA CRA Pro I have the LZ A7 and several others top IEMs. I don't need more. Therefore, why the hell do I want to read about these new KZs? Edit: After posting I read my post and it may sound sarcastic, but it's not...- BrunoC

People keep bashing KZ, but I think they are really improving their tunings (eg: CCA Rhapsody). They also try to make some innovations, and this one DD+Planar is very interesting.- BrunoC

TRN impressions thread
I received the MT4 Pro some days ago. Had some fit problems that are solved using foam tips. They're good for the price. Very musical, no peaks, and good separation. The bass is great with Xbass+ on the iFi Air Zen Dac. Using a Marantz desktop amp I don't need any boost on the bass, so the...- BrunoC

The 11xx setting has too much bass for me. I like the Castor Bass with 0011 settings, neutral source and foam tips. It has an analog sound that I like with good bass and good details. No peaks with this settings. Incredible value, really.- BrunoC

Earbuds Round-Up
IMO earbuds needs foams. I always wear foams on them, sometimes two on each side to warm the sound or improve the fit. Seriously, how can you get decent bass without foams? Also, the upper mids and treble should be peaky and piercing as hell. Unless a specific earbud is tuned to be used without...- BrunoC

Chifi is a gamble. The $90 Smabat ST-10 is not better than a €15 EMX500-s or even a $5 Vido. If you don't have a perfect fit, it won't be good, ever. I learned the hard way too.- BrunoC

I received the KZ PR2 v.2 (no mesh) for 2 weeks now. Sound very good. Just take you time to appreciate it and find the best DAC/eartips combination for you. I found it to be the best with foams and a good DAC. There's no rush to just bash it. The PR1 Pro was very very bright and I needed to...- BrunoC

I found the PR2 only sound good with a semi-powerful warm source and foam tips. Otherwise the sound will be thin with anemic bass.- BrunoC
