1. i was able to drive it with my iPhone and the cypher cable with reasonable results. It was far better with an amp. I used the chord mojo. 2. I was not happy with the ear pressure thing, and ultimately those different headphones.

I don’t think sibilance is an issue with Sine. I also don’t think that there is too much bass. Mine were little tight fitting out of the box, I loosened them up a little bit without too much trouble

I just bought a pair from Razordog Audio. The owner is super cool. He will give you a refund if you are not satisfied, and he has some demo models available at times for great prices. I bought the Sine & EL-8 Titanium. I returned the EL-8 as I preferred the Sine.
