I am a newcomer to high end headphones. I am loving the ability to jam out at home when the baby is sleeping! My home hifi system listening sessions have diminished greatly in frequency in the 15 months since my son was born.
I just played Karma Police at pretty high volume on my LCD-2's through the Chord Mojo. Hot Damn! What a sound! I am very happy with this purchase. Looking forward to getting my Schiit Jotunheim to see how these headphones do with more power and connected to my main system's higher end DAC and tube preamp...
If you're on the fence about the LCD-2, I give them 2 thumbs up.
They are rather huge though...
