This was it. Thankfully I could install the drivers on my work laptop.

One issue I am having is my laptop does not recognize it as a USB DAC. It shows up in device manager as USB Composite Device and won't start properly on Windows 10.

I just got my M6 pro and spent at least 8 hours listening to it today...trust me you won't be disappointed. Everything on it just sounds amazing! It makes my Auteur shine like no other desktop amp even could...I'm speechless. I haven't even done the update yet because I'm too scared to change...

Welp...for anyone wondering...my 2.5 port just broke on the X1A just as it did on the X1 :triportsad: but the ACG mode is just so good that no other player or DAC just does it for me. The clarity and separation is unlike no other...that I know of. Anyone know of any DACs/AMPs with a similar...

Disregard previous edit. The issue seems to stem from the sensitivity/volume. I tested it again the ModMic plugged into the Mobius themselves and BOTH had to volume instability and cutting out issue. Big, BIG difference though, is the ModMic is noticeably louder and clearer at the same distances...

I finally was able to boot into recovery, but since the device auto-turns on, the only way I could do this was to let it die completely, then put it on a charger and boot into recovery that way. If it fails, I have to let it...

How do you do that? I've tried holding every combination of power, play/pause, next track and previous track and nothing works. Fiio support is telling me to hold power and the volume up button...................

I just got my new Fiio X5 3rd gen on Tuesday and I've never been able to boot past the red welcome screen. I've done extensive research and tried to hold the power button for 15-20 seconds but it just turns off and automatically turns back on to the welcome screen. Any ideas? I need to know...
