What tips are you using?

Regarding the stock tips, what is the difference between them? I threw on the blue tips, and loved the sound so haven’t ventured to other tips. First time I didn’t tip roll when getting a new iem.

Ordered all three from Linsoul on Amazon.

I’m on my third set. (Thank you Amazon.) So far no issues of any kind. Interestingly, the third set arrived sealed in plastic while the first two did not.

Actually, I did just that and the issue was resolved. I’ve been thinking of doing what you suggested before returning the initial set. I don’t believe my ears can tell the difference.

Purchased and used for less than a week and the right channel died. Tried swapping cables and amps to verify it was the iem and not something else. Thankfully I purchased through Amazon and the replacement will be here in a few days. Crossing my fingers it doesn’t happen again.

To me, plugging the A7 directly into my PS4 controller, it was just okay. IMO the Olina does a better job with separation and sounds off camera. If that makes sense.

I received tuning filters as well. I could not locate anything in the included paperwork that discussed the filters and their intent. (Yes, I know they are tuning filters, but why did Thieaudio feel the need to include them?) Anyone know?

Hey Qudelix 5K fans... I do not see the ability to toggle Absolute Volume Control in the Qudelix app. I do have the most recent app versions and 5K software versions. I'm wondering if this has to do with the phone I'm using (it's an iPhone 8 with iOS 14.6). Have any of you run into this issue?

It’s happened to me a few times both as a DAC on Windows and in BT with iPhone. I’ve had it happen with other similar products, so I don’t believe it to be a concern. 🤷‍♂️

Both BT and DAC. The sounds are iem dependent and more noticeable using 3.5 vs 2.5 output. I still hear them, but decided to let it go, because it was the same for both units I tried. It’s not that bad to be honest. Mostly just annoying.

Looking at the specs of each of my iems, the A7 are the most sensitive and easiest to drive. Maybe that combined with the piezo drivers in the A7 are why it’s so noticeable. I don’t know.
