No, absolutely not. The ew200 is leaps and bounds better with staging and imaging. They aren't even in the same conversation as the Krila

    The discovery thread!

Count me in as another one who is in love with the AKG N5005's! I have been following them since their release and always wanted to try them and then recently was able to steal them for the new 199 asking price. They're amazing and get better and better as time goes by. I found that by using...

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

It took me a bit to find the sweet spot with my A4 pro's, but it was worth it once I found it. I really didn't like them out of the box with the black/black filters, but thankfully LZ makes all of the iem's super adjustable. To me, I found my perfect sound by using the red bass filter and the...

Now we're talking! That would be an instant purchase for me if LZ would do use that driver configuration. You know they would be amazingly tuned!

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

Greetings Pod! I also agree that LZ is the cream of the chifi crop and recently picked up the A4 pro's. If you already enjoy LZ offerings, then the A4 pro is a very easy rec. It took me a bit to find my optimal filter layout, but now am obsessed with them and can't take them out of my ears. I...

    The discovery thread!

I received my LZ A4 pro's the other day and now have about 10-12 hours with them. I really wasn't that impressed out of the box with the black/black configuration, but have finally found my sweet spot with them by using the red rear filter and the silver front filter. I will give more...

    LZ-A4 Impressions and Discussion Thread

Well, LZ has once again pulled me out of audio retirement, lol. I thought I was finished after buying the A7's, but couldn't resist when I saw they released an update to the classic A4's. I ordered them from Penon this morning, so now the long excruciating wait begins.

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

I really am impressed with the A7's the more I listen to them. I love how they're tuned and how the different filters all sound great. I felt like the A4, 5 and 6 all only had one filter that sounded "correct" to my ears, but the 7 sounds great using all of the filters. I decided to start with...

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

Wow, just wow. My A7's arrived a day earlier than expected and I can't take them out of my ears. I have to work tomorrow so I need sleep, but maybe just one more song and then sleep. Dang that songs over.....maybe one more song?!? 😂

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

That's awesome to hear. I LOVE the A6 for being fun and exciting, but would really be happy if the A7 were a little more subdued and natural. I'm hoping they can coexist and not have the A7 just be a replacement.

List your favorite IEMS under $500

I have an A7 arriving on Wednesday, and you have made me even more excited to try them. My main pairs I use now are the A6 and FLC8N, and can agree that the FLC8N are an amazing pair that should be talked about even more.

LZ A7 IEM's impressions and reviews thread

I'm looking forward to having my pair of A7's arrive on Wednesday so I can hear what the fuss is all about, haha. I own and love the A6 so much that I semi-retired from headfi for over a year, but got drawn back in by all of the praise for the A7. I'm looking forward to comparing them!

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread

Yeah, the first thing I did was tip and cable roll. I'd love to see a better cable and tips included with the A7, whenever it releases.

I agree. I definitely think it's been tuned to showcase that 7 layer piezoelectric driver in all it's glory.

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread

That's the beauty of the A6! I think mostly everyone with any kind of preference can find a filter that works for them and their sources.

To each their own good sir! I LOVE mine using the black filter and only hear pure clarity and midfi leading resolution. The A6 are really, really special indeed.

    AUDIOSENSE in-ear monitors Impressions Thread

Those tips look identical to the ones that I got with my Flc8s and Flc8n. I'm curious if they come with anything else, because I love what they do for highs and soundstage.

    The Toneking discussion lounge

The T88k and A6 are totally different animals. I love them both for what they're though. The A6 is the aggressive, and exciting one, while the T88k is the smooth, relaxing listen. I feel they both are excellent though and compliment each other. I use the A6 WAY more though, for my preferences...

I agree 100%. A tour would be great to help get their name out, as well as get a chance for people to audition their higher end models. I am really curious about the new e-stat Alpha, as well as the new 10ba model, but can't blind but at those costs.

In my opinion, yes, it's worth having the A6 if you already enjoy the mini. The A6 is on another level altogether.

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread

You're welcome! I should be home tonight or tomorrow morning, so I'll try and find some starline tips and compare their size to the Type E's. I normally use a medium size tip on with most tips, but I actually use the large Type E's on my A6's. It might be a good idea to just buy the Type E...

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread

Hey man, I'll do my best here to try and help out! The Sony and final tips are indeed similar looking, but there are pretty big differences though as well. The final tips have a stiffer core and make it super easy to get a perfect seal. It takes no effort at all, and really helps with isolation...

Low end. Cheap. Generic. Otherwise bang for buck cable thread!

The bottom quote concerns me with this cable though. Basically they're saying that the cable can be made any way they want too and they don't have to notify us of any changes. So in theory, is it unimaginable to think they could just make a cheap copper/silver plated cable and send it to buyers...

LZ A6/A6 mini discussion and review thread

So I've really been enjoying the A6 mini since I've received them. Firstly, I would say they're way more different to the regular A6, than they're similar. I wish they would've just used a unique name for them and marketed them on their own merits. To me, then not having the 4 BA's for the mids...
