MYSPHERE 3.1-UNIQUE in SOUND&DESIGN&BUILD QUALITY
I just need a K1000, slightly improved and that's all... Not something extravagant as this! :) (and quite different sound-wise.) Maybe the headband on k1000 a little bit rounder and it would be perfect for me... :)- UtzY

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone
They still come with those unnecessary thick, LONG and uncomfortable cable connections... Damn. You know, gamers want to turn their head around. Streamers too... Audeze, thicker cables and large connectors do not imply that those products have better quality and durability...they just look and...- UtzY

Sennheiser HD820
That is not Alcantara, It was marketed as Alcantara from my knowledge, but they didn't continue to manufacture the headphones using that material. Alcantara is a lot stronger, and resist very well to oils and mechanical wear. (Luxury car interior have some portions made out of Alcantara)...- UtzY

Meet the Sennheiser HD 820
Hope it is another kind of paint! On the open models WAS the worst paint of all headphones I've owned. If with HD650 (headband chip) worked, here it is inadmissible with a price like that. Pads are also a mess on my HD800 (not Alcantara as we were teased) :) Looking forward to some...- UtzY

Sennheiser HD800 S Impressions Thread (read first post for summary)
So you are telling me (and Alex Grell) that HD800S don't have higher distortion but has more bass/more extended which is not present into measurements? :)) -- please tell me how is that! The driver is the same, the same impedance, the same measurements, the same material, the only thing that...- UtzY

NAD Viso HP50 : Another superb headphone from Paul Barton?
The only drawback I find with these cans (VISO HP50) is their kinda dumb design. Looks wise I don't own a headphone uglier than this. I mean...the headband not only that is poorly designed, but it is not even comfortable. It just sits on one half of centimeter on my head. Bummer.- UtzY

MrSpeakers Electrostatic Prototype Listening Impressions
I am more concerned about consistency between batches/ pairs of headphones. How do you guys addressing this issue? If I am looking at Stax, at the beginning of the 009 there were huge difference between pairs. I don't know now. Same happened with Audeze.- UtzY

Why LCD series can't reduce its weight?
This and their cables. They are a joke. :) I think I have a thinner cable on my Miele 2200w Vacuum Cleaner than on Audeze or even Fostex TX00. Heck, they have thicker cables than most electrostatics on the market. Don't know from where it begun this trend, but even Grado made thicker cables...- UtzY

Hifiman Sundara (HE400i upgraded, around $500)
Make the headphones lighter, using state of the art materials and aerospace engineering. -- and then slap a vacuum cleaner cord on those saying that is "Audiophile" :) (Audeze - I am looking at you :) ) This is getting ridiculous. All this c*** coming from speakers, but there had more "sense"...- UtzY

AUDEZE LCD-Pro
GOD, I hope they eventually get rid of those SILLY big connectors. I understood when they were new into this, but now? They are not speakers, they are headphones... the connectors are too big, unnecessary, uncomfortable big. And yes, you don't need those connectors at all...but now it seems...- UtzY

Lets talk Mid-fi closed cans 300-600usd.
Try Meze Classics 99 (Old smaller pads) Beyerdynamic DT150 (and DT250) Oppo PM3 Or go towards MrSpeakers Aeon for a little more. (I didn't hear this model tough, but I see that it's well regarded)- UtzY

Lets talk Mid-fi closed cans 300-600usd.
Maybe they are designed for portable use, but are very good. (I use them everyday) Bass (quality) and lower mids are better than DT1770 and Fostex Th-X00 combined. Higher mids and highs is where they have some problems but not that DT1770 and Fostex are super good in this area. Beyerdynamic...- UtzY

Pleather or Leather earpads? (Durability and permeability/cleanliness) -- Protein leather?
Thanks, Sovkiller! :) I fear because I saw many CD3000 with flaking earpads... maybe that's why before I didn't even want to hear about pleather, but later heard that comfort on pleather is superior and feels a little cooler. +the ability to clean with ease, got me interested again.. :)- UtzY

Pleather or Leather earpads? (Durability and permeability/cleanliness) -- Protein leather?
Thanks! Is pleather impermeable to water and oils? Or it is just as permeable as leather. I mean the water or oils infiltrate into the earpad's sponge/foam just as easy as with leather?- UtzY

Pleather or Leather earpads? (Durability and permeability/cleanliness) -- Protein leather?
Hi, I am in a search of earpads/headband that I can clean easily. I have 0 cut hairstyle, and sometimes I can say that I have more sebum/oil production than a normal person. (especially the fact that I don't leave my hair to grow at all). - Or it's my impression :) As I am a clean freak, I am...- UtzY

GRADO GH2 - IMPRESSIONS
God, I still hate ANACONDA-like cables on this kind of headphone (Supra-aural). The reason why I sold HF-2. ...come on, we need to get over this thicker the better... it is not a power cord. :D- UtzY

Beyerdynamic DT-1770: Product Info, Discussion and Impressions
One of the best headphones, when comes to sound, comfort, price, durability, cheap parts (headband, earpads) is DT770. I will follow this headphone closely. (I hope that hadband is not fixed though, I loved the way you could exchange it on DT770)- UtzY
