+1 from me. I experience the same when using both Tidal and UAPP. It happened only with streaming and it's easy to recognize with song such as Adel's Dont you remember.

Thank you very much. I may only look at the 1A. I'm not familiar with the ZX2 hence I had to search for the pseudo-balanced Sony jack. I always thought it was as same as the balanced out in DP-X1 and AKs.

The WM1A is under my radar and i have some inquiries. 1. Does the 3.5mm support balanced? 2. How does the WM1A compare to ZX2 when driving IEMs only?   Pardon me if these were already answered, i searched but did not found.

I only listened to offline music and my experience with 3rd party music players (Hiby, Poweramp, UAPP, ...) is bad, all produced glitch' sound. Maybe i haven't tried all the sound settings (i tested some). But for me, the stock app is more than enough.

I found Spiral Dot is the most comfortable tip (compared to Spinfit and Sony hybrid) but its large bore could make wax easily entering the IEM's nozzle.

Thank you, sir. That's exactly what i did with my DP-X1, disabling almost all apps except the Onkyo Music app. And your ZX2's battery is just awesome.

I came from Fiio X5 II, and the DP-X1 is definitely different. I would say, brighter, expanded sound stage and more detailed. But I like it. And i think how it sounds depends greatly on which headphones are paired with.  

I don't use wifi on DP-X1, either. And it lasts about 10 to 12 hours depending on music formats (mostly FLAC 16/44 and some higher bit/rate or DSD). How's about your ZX2?

I want to share my experience with balanced cable. I received my balanced cable from SurfCable two days ago and it seemed to sound just as singled end. But now, it sounds more spacious and detailed. From now on, i must believed in the existence of the thing called cable burn-in.

Only using single ended, i did not feel any differences in sound. But the new Low2 gain setting is lower than the Low setting before. I only compare by memory not A/B.

My DP-X1 was updated too. But honestly, i didn't find any of the changes as a problem before. I just want the USB DAC function. Please please Onkyo.
