Are Koss KSC-75 still the best cheap running headphones?

I had a pair of Koss KSC-75 but I lost them somehow. They were great for running and pretty fun to listen to otherwise. I think I might buy another pair but... Does anyone think there are better choices? Low cost is more important than sound quality and they should be durable.

Why does Amazon have so much Klipsch X10 stock? They're still selling for $84.99

I'm wondering why they're still selling for this price. I bought a set but I was planning on making my money back. I might end up not opening them and trying to sell to a foreigner.

I need CHEAP IEM's with a remote in the cord and great fit/build quality. Are skullcandy the best choice? I don't care about sound

I've had a few pairs of Meelectronics and I don't like them. They might sound better than skullcandy, but the fit is worse, and the button on the remote is worse. Are there any others I should consider? I want something cheap that I don't need to worry about.

    Best fitting IEM under $30?

I've had some high end and great sounding buds, but I've decided that I just don't want to spend a lot of money because I keep damaging/losing them. I still have a pair of nice-ish over ear phones, so for these I really don't care much about the sound. With that in mind, which buds fit the...

Sent in my TripleFi 10 for replacement. Logitech/UE support botched the return mailing label three times and now UPS lost them... what to do?

asdfI bought a set of Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 during the Amazon sale. I really like the sound but soon noticed buzzing/clicking in one earpiece. It only happened at certain frequencies so I suspected it was due to driver crossover issues. I contacted support about this and they instructed me...

Monster Turbine- crackly noise in right driver. Cable issue?

Just now I was listening to Know Your Enemy on my Monster Turbines, paused, started listening again, and I hear crackling coming from the right earpiece accompanying what I'm guessing is a certain frequency in the mids or midbass. This has never happened before so I tried listening through my...

Do any companies make small extension cables that have a remote built in?

I have two nice pairs of IEMs but I like to listen to audiobooks and this requires me to stop it if I take off my headphones. I have an iPod Touch which is a pain to pull out of my pocket and pause.   So... I'm looking for a cheap and compact headphone extension cable that has a remote built...

TripleFi 10: Tinny buzzing at certain frequencies?

I got TripleFi 10 a few weeks ago with the Amazon deal but have recently noticed tinny buzzing the right earpiece. I'm guessing this is a defect of some sort and am wondering: have others have experienced it?   It usually happens on songs with deep bass. For example, "A Dark Knight" on the...

I think Triple Fi 10 are approximately equal to Grado 225i

I just sold my Grado about two weeks ago and have recently bought a pair of Triple Fi 10 and a pair of Monster Turbines. The Turbines are much better than my ADDIEM I was using but still didn't have very good clarity. The Triple Fi 10, however are great in many ways. The bass is better than...

Anyone else buy both the Turbines and the TripleFi 10 from Amazon?

Bought both of them, so far just have the Turbines. They are a big step up from my ADDIEM that crackle constantly (I think it has to do with ear wax getting inside it). As expected the bass is very strong, probably too strong imo, but still sound awesome for most songs. It is very finicky with...

IEM's with "Grado" sound? RE0? Looking for detail, and soundstage

I just sold my Grado because I want something I can listen to anywhere without hassle. Do RE0 compare to the Grado SR225? I'm expecting the answer will be "no" but just thought I'd ask.    I don't want to spend too much, like no more than $100. Sound-wise I want detail and soundstage, and...

good headphones for running/jogging below $50?

Title says it all. I want something that stays on well so I don't have to adjust it. I'm thinking this rules out any buds/IEMs or circumaurals. I was thinking px-100 and ksc-75. Any opinions on how those compare in sound quality and fit? PS: What's the difference between the px100 and the...

is it me or do laptops sounds better than ipods?

I listen to my headphones (ADDIEM, Creative Aurvana Live, Sony MDR-NC60) out of either my ipod touch or my MacBook pro. Just now I was looking up Judas Priest live videos (pretty disappointing tbh), then listening to painkiller on both devices, and I think the laptop sounds better. Anyone else...

Is 100 ohms high impedance for a set of headphones being driven straight out of an iPod?

I got a pair of Sony NC-60 noise cancelling headphones which supposedly have 100 ohm impedance with noise cancelling off, and 40 ohms with it on. Can I expect my iPod to drive these? Would the headphone jack on my laptop be any better? Or would I definitely benefit from an amp? FYI mostly I...

circumaural headphones with good fit, good isolation, good portability, and nice appearance? like bose triport, but good SQ?

Title basically says it all. Most important to me is how well the headphones fit, and in this regard I really like like Bose Triport circumaural headphones. Bose also have great isolation, are lightweight and small-ish, and look pretty good. Unfortunately they don't sound much good and are not...

Cassette adapter to play my iPod in the car

I bought a cheapo cassette adapter a while ago and it works fine in my moms new Highlander, but not the 1996 Dodge I drive. It will play re music for a few minutes, then it will "switch sides" then play a bit, then switch sides again and keep on doing it every few seconds. Could this be a...

Are the NuForce NE-7M and the SoundMAGIC PL-11 the same thing?

The NuForce is fifty bucks, the SoundMAGIC PL-11 is $12, yet they look almost identical except for the different colored metal. Are they the same sound-wise? And would the tips from the Sound-Magic fit the NuForce? They appear identical in size and shape.

NuForce NE-7M vs. Apple In Ear

I want a new pair of IEM's that have a mic on them, so this narrows it down quite a bit. I was almost set on buying the NuForce but then I saw a thread touting the dual armature drivers of the Apple in Ear. How do these two compare in sound quality, comfort, and compatibility with other tips...

Does Amazon ever stock Nuforce NE-7M?
