    I think I found the definition of "harsh" and "overly bright".

    Although Im a big fan of The Doors some of their guitar solo's really wreck havoc on my ears. For example, 2:00 to ~2:28 and 4:00-4:45 of Light My Fire. Ouch! And maybe the last ~25 seconds of Touch Me. But not so much compared to Light My Fire. EDIT: It was on the 'The Best of The Doors...
