Thanks for you guys' advice. I am using a cheap PC power cord right now, and few the sound (with K701) is sometimes cold and thin, especially for violin music. I don't doubt the quality of prehead, so I address the problem to poor PC power cord.

I recently got a corda prehead-1 amp with no power cord. I plan to spend <$50 to purchase suitable power cord for my new amp. Please give me some advice. Thanks!

Thanks. In fact, I've tried GL once for my k501. I think k501 sounds dry with it.

I've just upgrade my CD player to Rega Planet(old version), and I have both K501 and HD600. I only listen to classical music(piano, chamber, and symphonies, etc). Could you please recommend a good amp under $400 for both headphones? I don't care about new or used amps. Thanks!
