Out of curiosity, is it possible to remove the filter on the B or A Series to clean it if you get some earwax on it?

I found the Final Audio B and A series to be really nice for small ears. The A8000 apparently is life changing.

The way I see it, my Concero HD and HP sound like a million bucks right now and I can't see any tangible benefit to upgrading the firmware if nothing is wrong. Plus I would much rather play it safe.

Oh I live for the XS Size. I would be completely sold on the A8000 if it was in a finish that was less of a fingerprint/dust magnet.

I just find it really hard to figure out appropriate volume due to the isolation. I find that my B3's really come alive at Red or just slightly above, but my ears may not be happy with that.

Out of curiosity, is the cable on the B3 the same as the one on the B1 and A8000? If so, is that the C106 cable? Also, have any of you had issues with fraying at the MMCX connector because you don't use the ear hooks?

Just curious, do you think it is possible to buy the A8000 carrying case separately? I transport my IEMs in my backpack along with a lot of other gear daily and it would be great to have a slightly more rigid case than the stock silicone case.

That is good to hear! Do you think that you need to use the ear hooks that they provide to ensure the longevity of the cable? I found that the cable hangs around my ear nicely so I don't feel the need to use the hooks, but I am worried about damaging the cable/connector from the subtle strain.
