Do you think these earphones are good for gym & running? I never broke my earphones while doing sports but I worry if I break such expensive things because of sweat etc.- prostheticwhim

T-PEOS Altone350 impressions and Australian review tour thread.
Actually I don't think I'm a basshead, if we compare headphone -iem, superlux hd668 sounds much more bassy to me and it's defined as a balanced monitor. I find their sound character very similar, but for sure altone is much much better in terms of resolution and seperation.- prostheticwhim

I don't plan to upgrade actually, now that I found something for my taste, I'll use it till I hear something better, maybe I'll upgrade the cable. I'm just curious for the better because of your negative comments, to see what your reference is I take live sounds reference, as much as I can...- prostheticwhim

T-PEOS Altone350 impressions and Australian review tour thread.
I got the altone 350 for 250 $, I find the bass just enough for my taste, I like it and the texture of it, mids and treble also best I got for my ears. I listen with moderate volume and I don't prefer the sound of it with very high volumes even while using a low power source like sansa clip and...- prostheticwhim

Thanks for the review by the way, which iems do you think is better than altone 350 in treble? I'm suprised because I like the iem partly because of sweet cymbal sounds with sparkle and decay. I am aware each ear may hear differently but just want to check if there are better options for me...- prostheticwhim

Does anybody know a place to buy DC jacks for altone 350 with international shipping? I want to make my own cable, red cable is better than the cable with mic but I really dont like to use a red cable and I want to add memory wire.- prostheticwhim

Timbre in treble of altone 350 is unlike any other headphone I heard, but for me it's the most realistic one I heard.- prostheticwhim

T-PEOS Altone350 impressions and Australian review tour thread.
I use them with included complies or Logitech UE white large tips mostly. Altone 350 is by far the best iem I heard, what I hear from this thing is like perfect for me, whatever comment I make will be positive so no point in saying anything :) But at start I struggled to find the perfect fit...- prostheticwhim

Etymotic MK5... any users?
Great review, I completely agree with thinner mid range and lack of treble extension. Is er4 midrange is fuller? But bass will be lacking in er4 vs mk5, am i right? I thought of getting er4 after hearing mk5 but couldn't be sure.- prostheticwhim

Etymotic MK5... any users?
Sorry for any wrong expression, what I meant was definition/resolution with crispness. Treble, I find metallic and dry in mk5 with lack of extension on notes. Anyway I like the iem but would prefer gr07 as SQ wise.- prostheticwhim

I feel highs of mk5 is etched actually, but I have gr07 classic which I believe highs are tamed and less sibilant according to older versions.- prostheticwhim

Etymotic MK5... any users?
I use mk5 along with gr07. It lacks some note extension and crispness in treble but response is flat and stage is in par with es sm64 if memory serves well. I adore the bass in mk5, it's perfect in quantity and detail, I prefer gr07 because of its sparkle, fidelity, sound color and note weight /...- prostheticwhim

Earsonics SM64: The Impressions Thread
I've tried sm64 with x1 for a week, they really do not go well, x1 limits what sm64 can do really. It's much much better with e17 as usb/dac and still better than x1 with note 2 / e17 amp combo. For me background of x1 was not dark at all, the sound was too blended and soft. It paired good with...- prostheticwhim

Earsonics SM64: The Impressions Thread
I think of buying a fiio x1 for SM64, my phone can't drive it well enough to create a good harmonic contrast and loudness/sound pressure. Does anyone can tell me if X1 can drive it well enough? And further comments about how they go together is appreciated.- prostheticwhim
