Just made a $10 single BA. Used a $1.50 CI-30120, no dampers, and cheap dynamic housings from taobao.

The amp deals on amazon are amazing! When I ordered mine, they forgot to add the amp... They then refunded the entire purchase and let me keep the headphones.

So basically what I've gathered is that if I buy two Knowles GK drivers, some SE535 shells, and some mmcx connectors, I can easily solder together some IEMs?

Just tried out my topping nx1 + iphone DAC. Earlier I had tried NX1 + laptop DAC. Wow this sounds alot better now that they're properly powered. They really opened up, the separation seems better as well as the clarity and soundstage. Slightly warmer now with improved bass extension. Q1 Comes...
