I don't think so, I designed my own headband. I didn't care being able to fit another headband.

I haven't tried any other drivers than the ones I named already. I will have to test with different drivers for sure but I've been really busy lately and haven't go the chance to work more on this project. Also, I'm still waiting on 2 pieces that need to be built again because I didn't design...

Anyone know where I could find the right foam to make inserts for the open-back ear cups?

Hmm I don't think the L-cush will fit my cups. They are made to receive 103mm of diameter ear pads.

Yes I did. Not for long enough though. The way it's assembled right now it doesn't fit my taste. Sounds very warm (almost muffled in my opinion). Out of 4 people listening to them, they were the most popular though. Everybody loved the result but me. I'll tune it differently this week and try to...

Yes I meant lathe. Went to google translation and that's the correct translation. Awesome craftsman work and skills then.

Awesome cups, do you make them on a wood tower (don't know if the translation from french is correct)?

I do have leather ear pads, the Kennerton ones, but like I said, lost them in a box for the moment haha!   Right now we only made baffles that can receive 40mm drivers but we plan on extending the type of baffles. You only see one type of baffle on that picture too but there's another kind...

Was about to show you. We finished 2 ear cups yesterday. The problem is we're waiting for the shoemaker to make the headband leather sleeve so right now we have no headband lol...   But still, here are some pics of what we've done. Hope you guys like it. I'll send a prototype to...

Yes they are made out of wood. This first prototype is made in pine but the next ones will be made in linden. The wood piece on the right is to close the cup and the aluminium ring is to open it (an hexagonal grill will be attached to it).

Guys, here's a look at the first pieces of my DIY heaphones prototype. There's more ready too but I didn't have much time to take pictures because the guys at the workshop had to go back to work.

Blueprints will be ready tomorrow. I'll try to have the prototype built as fast as possibl But it should be a couple weeks before I can touch it haha. I'm getting really excited about it.

I ordered pleather and velour HM5 ear pads as well as Kennerton ECL-02 ear pads for the prototype. HM5 ear pads would come standard and Kennerton ECL-02 as an upgrade but we'll have to test them first.

I'm not sure I quite understand where the notch would be and where it would hold but # 14 is made out of metal.

Thank you for the offer. Actually, I have all the material I need at home to make my own but I was really looking for one on the market since as I said in my first post concerning this it's not for a DIY project.
