FAD shall release a successor to the Fibass with improved design, detachable cable, improvements in the SQ and sell it below $1500. There's no need competing with some Layla 2 or KSE1500 at $3000+ with a simple dynamic driver and fancy housing- thepooh

If I was part of the royalties I would never look after it, but I would order an 18k solid gold PFX with my personal preferences on the tuning and a detachable cable as well- thepooh

Actually all depends on your ear tips, I tried several with the Fibass before getting the right one (large silicon red neck from my budget Fiio EX1), these are not like Sony to be compatible with mostly every ear tips but FAD are quite picky. With the right fit, bass quality and quantity is...- thepooh

HTC One M9 review "even louder than M8"
Totally agree ! I still prefer the Iphone 6 for many reasons, the M9 is slightly too leaner for my taste. I sold it just about 2 weeks after purchase, not because of the SQ but it was very unstable at that time with serious overheating issues. Right now the A9 is a better choice amongst other...- thepooh

That's what I saw on reviews ☺ My Fibass is too bright for neutral sources such as AK240 and doesn't really pair well with my X3II and DX80 neither, this is why I need a warmer source right now- thepooh

Compared to the Shure SE846, how does the Fibass sounds? I assume that both have pros and cons, at this price range we can't really say that one sounds better than the other. But how would be the comparison in terms of tonality, bass, mids, treble, soundstage and details?- thepooh
