    Soundmagic HP150/HP151 Impressions Thread

Hi all, i have an HP200.   I'm trying to get some velour pads to replace the stocks, I am hoping the 100/150/200 are the same size (100x100mm). Can anyone recommend some options? I have been told the Shure HPAEC1540 alacantra work but theyre about £50, far too much.   I see some are trying...

    REVIEW: SoundMagic HP200

Those are very long pieces, I could watch 2 films for the legnth of the last 2!   I listened to the first one from my phone (PC sounds horrible) and tried another live outdoor one, i would say the bass in classical is rarely prominent and the same is so for the hall of the mountain king, the...

    Don Scorpio Dolphins

Penon was securely packaged and delivery was fast, much faster than some HP's i ordered from China 1 week prior, they arrived 2 weeks after the dolphins. On the website you can adjust the currency to E/£/$ etc.

    REVIEW: SoundMagic HP200

I saw that but was wondering if anyone had tried any others and what make. The Shure HPAEC1540 are expensive, close to £50, thats just unreasonable. The bass is good, i don't like a strong overpowering bass though. I don't listern to EDM, send me a link to somthing you like and i'll give...

    UK 2015 Head-Fi Meet (Cambridge - Saturday 25th April)

There was an endurance cyclist called Mark who throught himself the family patriarch; but the saddle caused a change, he said "oh I feel strange!" now a matriarch as his bits disembarked.

There was an endurance cyclist called Mark whose potence was bluntest with a narc; to begin his convalescence, he gave his chemist a severance, and his conscience became his trademark.     Changed "whose" to "who" (to follow rules to the letter):   There was an endurance cyclist called...

    UK 2015 Head-Fi Meet (Cambridge - Saturday 25th April)

There was an endurance cyclist called Mark whose fetish for marmite was harsh; for he would "twerk", as he ate it at work, singing "I am the marmite monarch!"     Changed "whose" to "who" (to follow rules to the letter):   There was an endurance cyclist called Mark who had a fetish for...

    UK 2015 Head-Fi Meet (Cambridge - Saturday 25th April)

My £20 portable music player testing flac & 192/320 shows clear differences, but the tidal test from my computer using Soundmagic HP200 was hopeless.   RE: Cambridge Azur 540A; Cambridge are a solid make, but as amps go it's still considered "budget". In the grand scheme of things so is my AVR...

No It's not lossless, if you pay for the premium service the best is 320 kbps. I suspect using your Cambridge Azur 540A - Integrated/pre-amp was the reason for getting 5/5.   http://www.qobuz.com/ https://www.deezer.com/ https://tidalhifi.com/   These are other lossless streaming services.

    AKG K601 & K612 Pro Owners... UNITE!!

Hi all, i just remembered I said i'd post impressions on the 612's. My AVR didn't seem to do them justice and the cost/array of an amp that would, combined with other headphones rearing their head led to their return. I'll be interested in trying them with a good amp though. Thanks to everyone...

    Sennheiser Momentum M2 vs Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) P7

I really like the sound of the P7's and did not like the original momentums (not heard M2). I like the open Soundmagic HP200, so if you liked the HP150's we may have similar tastes, if so I would advise the P7's. No, those soundmagics are really not for walking around.   My walkaround's are...

Hi matt, just looked at your inventory, snap! I've some QED Silver Anniversay cable too, using them for my BX2's.   RE: The ebay cable you recommended, have you compared it to similar designed silver plated ? I'm wondering if its worth the double the price.

    UK 2015 Head-Fi Meet (Cambridge - Saturday 25th April)

Thought I'd chime in here with all this Tidal talk. Anyone else taken the "Tidal High Fidelity" Test? http://test.tidalhifi.com/   I did horribly from my laptop with it's awful soundcard, I used good headphones so felt suitably sheepish.
