Review: CEntrance DACport Slim DAC/Amp Combo
I asked Centrance about DSD rate & it seems to be 64xDSD only, inasmuch as I've got such a shaggy answer. I'm really not ready to take a risk of purchase without knowing it.- IvanQ

[NEW] Audio Technica CKR series (CKR10, CKR9, CKR7)
Audionewbi, if U have CKR10, don't waste money on CKR9LTD. They have similar sound, no much difference to complement each other. CKR9LTD sounds more liberal, no bass heaviness accent like in CKR10. Just reduce EQ on subbass region and add a couple db between 5-10k region up to taste. Sounds...- IvanQ

No it is not true, it will work at full 24/96 regardless the device which U will use, only if connection via toslink or digital coax interface. Indeed, U will have to buy an optical cable in apple store for your ipod...- IvanQ

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
I know nothing about Sony amps. UHA-6sii is better for pairing with Apple products, full 24/96 through toslink to 3.5, Ipod Classic should work fine.- IvanQ

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
As far as I know C5 uses OPA2227 it can be harsh on highs for such dynamic and precise iems like IM02. The harshness is caused due to lack of details on highs in particular op amp. It sounds fine with any headphones except for those with accentuated details on highs, basically IM02 will reveal...- IvanQ

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
Why do U think that equivalent to CK100pro is very bright, as far as I know they close to K701, which is not as piercing bright like DT880. The current price for CK100pro is significantly higher than the price of IM03, if I had had to compare them directly I would have decided nothing to...- IvanQ

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
I had CK90pro but they were falling out constantly, however I liked their sound. That is why I'm considering CK100pro, as an original AT sound. Are there any other options which memic CK100pro sound? What can be an upgrade within $700? I tried W50 and wasn't impressed with them, now I don't know...- IvanQ

Audeze EL-8: The EL-8 is a must-hear at CES 2015
I've been waiting for something lighter from Audeze, EL8 looks much smaller than LCD2, but almost the same weight. Apparently only Oppo managed to keep weight under 400g. Audeze: sounds - great, comfort - still sucks!- IvanQ

Revelation Audio Lab (RAL) ... are they crooks?
Ha ha! the same stupid trap with preshipment number! So amazing to see it, that he is doing it so easy and simple, and nothing can be done to stop it because it is an ingenious way to con people while US local legal bodies don't give a crap about it. This coward did exactly the same with my...- IvanQ

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3
Well, perhaps my question sounds awkwardly. I've recently lost almost $300 through purchase of cable for my AKG from Revelation Audio Lab, paid like into the black hole in the space & received nothing back, just sit with d@ck in hand and fake tracking number. I began to think that switching to...- IvanQ

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3
So, do I understand it right? SD2/SD3 cannot surpass full size cans like AKG K7@# in details & width of sound stage. However, in IEMs class StageDivers are above average.- IvanQ
