Please excuse me if this has been asked before, but does the Zenith work with DSD Native in Roon into Chord dacs, or do you have to use DoP?

That is not correct about Chord. TT2 and DAVE offer XLR out as well as RCA. But they are still single ended designs. I have Merging NADAC MC8 too, which offers XLR out for all 8 channels.

I run a Chord DAVE through a 900u to the 750p via balanced, so I can control volume from the remote. Sounds very good.

I don't see why you should cancel your order on the TT2. The quality of the DAC is fundamental. The M Scaler is not a DAC, so it is like comparing oranges to apples.

The further you move up the Chord ladder, the better the sound. It's not isolated to the question of how difficult loads the DAC can drive, IMO. It is mainly about sheer sound quality. Additionally there are factors like ergonomics and pride of ownership. The latter if you are a true audiophile ;-)

The M Scaler upscales no matter the DAC you connect it to. The question is only, if your DAC supports the sample rate it is putting out. If not = no sound.

Do you use a special toslink cable, or is it the one that comes with the M Scaler? Since you have found it worthwhile to spend a bit extra on BNC and HP cables, it would be reasonable to believe that you may have found some benefits in upgrading the optical connection as well?

How do you like the Luxman? I use mine with Focal Utopia, amazing amp IMO.
