My topping vx1 is inexpensive and sounds killer

My E11 happily and effectively drives my fidelio x1s and Martin Logan mikros 90s. Both are about 20-30 ohms. Sounds great.

Looking to drive my Martin Logan mikros 90s and Phillips Fidelio X1s. Tubes would be cool, but I'm not married to it. Can anyone make any suggestions? Schitt? Bravo? Thanks!!

Agreed. They are tight out of the box, but a good healthy bend of the headband is a one stop solution. The pads are very soft and the unit as a whole is extremely comfortable and the quality is really top notch. The sound is balanced and crisp and I can listen for hours. They will really reveal...

My setup: Topping vx1 amp/dac--120.00 Polk monitor 30s. 99 on ebay. Sounds incredible running from usb of my MacBook Pro with lossless files. When my pono comes in October it's gonna be brilliant.

Topping vx 1, MacBook Pro, stock cable. With lossless files I am blown away by the sheer transparency. And so comfortable. Much better than the L1s.

Mine just arrived. They are supremely comfortable and sound heavenly. Balanced, alive and with lots of kick and sparkle. Rock sounds great.

Martin Logan Mikros from Newegg. Divinely comfortable on ear. Great value. Some say clamp too high. Just bend the band. It's really strong. I did this and they are my go to travel phones.

Waiting for the X1s. I'll report back soon.

After a lot of reading I am leaning to the x1s. Price is about the same but build looks better on x1s. Anyone have a view on which is more comfortable?
