I couldn't really find a thread devoted to TF2 So I made one.   Personally, it's my favorite FPS at the moment, and I've been enjoying it more than others *cough* Brokenfield 4 *cough*   So to start, why do you like/dislike Team Fortress 2?

I'm looking to upgrade my Schiit Magni to power the 3.2 Mad Dogs that I plan to get. There has been mixed reception over the combination, some saying it's great, others think it is lacking. I have a Modi DAC, and I don't think it needs upgrading.    Budget is no more than $200. Still not sure...

Basically it's good for all genres (or just the ones you listen to) But It's not the best out there for particular genres.   Senn 558's nail it pretty well in my mind, but upgrading soon.

I listen to hip hop/rap as well as other genres like dubstep and classical. Gaming will be primary, somewhat like 70% Gaming 30% Music   I had the Sennheiser HD598s at Fry's for $150 that I was looking at but I don't know if the bass is going to be all that fantastic.   Any other options...

I know the AD700 is a king for directional audio (along with it's clone with better colors, the AD700x) but I heard the bass is lacking, is this true? They will be used for about 50% Gaming and 50% music (genres like rap, hip hop, jazz) and i heard the Brainwavz HM5 are decent at doing both.   ...

So I really want these headphones, and they basically top my budget. (Why I can't buy an amp)   Would I be better off getting a pair of Sony MDR-MA900 (which only have 12ohm) or should I get the Q701s and save for an amp?   Primary use is gaming, then music (genres like dubstep, jazz, rap...
