I listen to hip hop/rap as well as other genres like dubstep and classical. Gaming will be primary, somewhat like 70% Gaming 30% Music
 
I had the Sennheiser HD598s at Fry's for $150 that I was looking at but I don't know if the bass is going to be all that fantastic.
 
Any other options? Isolation is no issue either, and I'd rather get better headphones than get cheaper cans + soundcard. 
 
I have a budget of $170, and no amp/DAC. Will be driven out of my PC
 
Also, I have checked out Mad Lust Envy's guide, but the MA-900 have gone up to $230
