I know the AD700 is a king for directional audio (along with it's clone with better colors, the AD700x) but I heard the bass is lacking, is this true? They will be used for about 50% Gaming and 50% music (genres like rap, hip hop, jazz) and i heard the Brainwavz HM5 are decent at doing both. 
 
So what should I buy? (source is a PC with no soundcard, amp, DAC) 
 
Any other suggestions under $150 USD is greatly appreciated.
