Honestly, I think it is very unlikely to be added. They probably have a good reason to make it the way is it made. Knowing Focals focus on audio quality, they probably made a deliberate choice to not have that option.

In all 3 modes, although it is much louder in Transparent mode. Somewhat of a pointless comparison to make it clear: The noise in silent or soft is about 1 or 2 out of 10. The noise in transparency would be around 6 or 7 out of 10. 10/10 is normal music listening volume.

I use SMSL SU9 + Singxer SA1 But only the SMSL has a remote, and I personally am of opinion it is better to alter the volume on the amp rather the DAC. But you could probably use the SU9 volume without any problem. Why a remote btw? Always wondered why people use remotes with their headphone...

Thanks! Yeah I figured that is the only way to disable the SBX effects, but still keep the EQ. I disabled all individual sliders on the SBX page and put surround on 0. I think that disabled everything except for the EQ. I will only use it for gaming, so I just keep it this way. Only got 2.0...

What are you guys using in windows setting (bitrate etc) for the USB input on the SU9? I use Qobuz, in exclusive mode it automatically sets the bitrate of the song (right?). But for other sources, like internet radio, youtube etc what would be the best bitrate in windows?
