any one with jumper mod installed?
what is your findings, please

is this common then?Is it still under warranty? I backed out of buying a used SA-1 because of this intermittent problem. I believe it has to be shipped back to China.
I could handle the shipping cost back under warranty, but not shipping back and forth, plus the repairs.
From the audiophonics page... "To adapt to all types of headphones, whether high-sensitivity or high-impedance models, the SA-1 V2 offers gain selection (low or high) via a bipolar switch on the front panel." If there is a gain selector on the front panel, instead of the 4 gain switches at the bottom, then I'm all for it, however the pictures of the front panel on the site doesn't really show the gain selector. Methinks could be an old picture (original SA-1)i see version 2 is out now.
anyone know what changes are.
its advertised on audiophonics but details a tad vague
It's not unheard of. There have been several instances posted online.is this common then?
I wonder if you can still do the jumper mod on the new versioni see version 2 is out now.

Not really into opening the cover (could invalidate the warranty). Now if there is a selector on the front/back panel for the mod, this would be better.I wonder if you can still do the jumper mod on the new version
I wonder if that glitch discussed above has been fixed?I wonder if you can still do the jumper mod on the new version
pic on audiophonics shows same jumper positions as original. difficult to pinpoint any changes they have made tbhI wonder if you can still do the jumper mod on the new version
The third toggle from the left is for high-Z / low-Z, an impedance selection. From the audiophonics page... Singxer SA-1 v2
So, gain selector is still the original implementation ie at the bottom of the unit. The third toggle from the left is for high-Z / low-Z, an impedance selection.
So, this handbook is for the SA-1 v2 ?Paragraph 6 (below) describes the impedance switching. Paragraph 8 (below) confirms what @raif71 says.
