Yes but you would now have 2 volume controls to attenuate the signal. One on the WA22 and one on the GSX. You want to set the volume on the Woo at an appropriate level as you could potentially risk overloading the input of the GSX mini giving you harsh clipping/distortion.

Sorry for the late bump, I have had both and actually prefer the sound of the D7000.... less piercing and more balanced overall. If I was looking at a potential upgrade from the D7000 I'd probably try the ZMF EIKON.

Does anyone know how to remove earpads on SR009? I'm thinking of replacing mine in the near future and cant for the life of me figure out how to remove the old ones.

Its a huge spend though. Many times more than what I paid for these. I have a local retailer who have a BHSE thats avaliable to audition and other high end gear. Might be in my best interests to try both the L700 and Sr009 out there.

The STAX energizers assuming everything is ok should make 0 noise. My srm323ii plugged into varying sources with nothing playing on maximum volume has no background noise.

I'm sure it would be beneficial to run with a better energizer but I doubt it will make a night and day difference. I've auditioned the L700 with much higher end energizers and the differences were subtle at best.

Does anyone know if an SRM323II is adequete for driving SR007 MKii or will it struggle? I heard that SR007 MKII aren't as efficient as the Lambda line as a general rule of thumb.

Have you tried disconnecting the source feeding the srm353x? With the l700 connected to the amp and no source feeding them does the sound persist, if yes its likely the unit is defective.

Do you have the attenuation discs? (The plastic things that sit inbetween the driver and pad)

What earpads are the go to if you want more comfort but don't want to alter the sound signature? I tried the lawton pads and they sounded awful on both my d7000 and th x00.

This would be a great unit provided the headphones you are planning on using are high impedance only.
