[FiiO FA1] Single Balanced Armature In-Ear Monitors, Knowles Customized BA Driver, DLP 3D Printing Technology,Detachable MMCX Cable
F5 has a larger more 3D soundstage for sure. FA1 has a smaller, in front of your face kind of soundstage, which I find to be more intimate and suitable for some genre of musics. I enjoy them both!- vyogan

[FiiO FA1] Single Balanced Armature In-Ear Monitors, Knowles Customized BA Driver, DLP 3D Printing Technology,Detachable MMCX Cable
I received the FA1 2 days ago and my first impression when I put them on my ears was that they very closely resemble the frequency response of my beloved HD600! It's not equal in quality, mind you, but I really like the sound signature and it is what I was looking for to replace my Soundmagic...- vyogan

Fiio X1 gen 1 wheel fix - in case anyone else is still using it
How do you even remove the center button? Mine won't even rotate! What a miracle! I just tried to turn it on to see if the button still works, then I find out that the wheel is fixed!!! I didn't even open it!! Must be due to the pressure applied on the wheel while I was trying to undo the...- vyogan

Hidizs AP60II - youngest in HiRes family but worth every cent
The arrow down or up is for next or previous song? Does it also work with the screen off? How is the battery life? Does it last up to 12 hours as advertised? Also, how does it compare to the Fiio X1 sound wise? I've had my Fiio X1 for a few years now and my only gripe with it is the scrolling...- vyogan

FiiO F9, F9Pro-Detachable MMCX connector,Hi-Res Audio Certified,2.5mm TRRS/3.5mm audio cable
Thanks for the comparison! Don't think I'll be needing this then. I'm trying to look for a less bright, warmer & smoother IEM with good isolation. I've had the Dunu Titan 1 before, and now I have the Fiio Ex1-ii, they are extremely similar but I find that the Ex1-ii is less sibilant, the treble...- vyogan

Good balanced IEMs with tight punchy bass for 50eur are...?
Check out Soundmagic's E80. Very balanced and neutral. Bass is punchy enough, extremely slightly elevated maybe? Very well worth it.- vyogan

SoundMAGIC release E50S and E80S In-Ear Reference Series
After using the e80 for over a month, I have to say I really love them to bits! Been using them on and off with my Sennheiser HD600 and honestly, they are so similar in their sound signature and tonality! I've finally found my portable mini HD600! Then again, the e80 is not exactly on par with...- vyogan

SoundMagic E50 & E80 - Story of Two Magicians - A Review...
I fully agree with you. The E80 is easily the best at it's price! Does every genre well, since it's neutral. You cannot go wrong with them, unless you're looking for a really specific sound signature. Clarity and timbre are almost on par with even mid tier headphones! I'm always surprised by...- vyogan

Fidue A73 - Hybrid (1DD + 1BA) IEM - Impressions and discussion thread
Thank you for taking the effort! I really appreciate it! 70% of my music collection consists of female vocals so it's really important to me that they excel at it. From the sound of it, I am sure they'll be a great buy at $150 (It's shocking how in the past few years these companies...- vyogan

Fidue A73 - Hybrid (1DD + 1BA) IEM - Impressions and discussion thread
Maybe you can try these tracks for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYo5alIaUOk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w00YI8xuRfI They are two of my most favorite tracks for female vocals. Sorry that they're Japanese. I did try the EPH200, and thankfully I wasn't expecting much...- vyogan

Fidue A73 - Hybrid (1DD + 1BA) IEM - Impressions and discussion thread
@archy121 How does the A73 compare with EPH-100 in terms of female vocal? One of the main reasons why I love the EPH-100 so much is the tinge of warmth and smooth female vocals that always captivates me every time I listen to them. I always go from "I need to upgrade on my Yams soon" to "Oh my...- vyogan

SoundMagic E50 & E80 - Story of Two Magicians - A Review...
From my memory, the e80 only has a slightly more pronounced bass compared to RE-400 (I could be wrong the last time I tried it as I was only powering the RE-400 with Clip+). So, if you're looking for a bit of fun I think the Fidue A73 would be the way to go. As much as I love the e80, I'd...- vyogan

SoundMagic E50 & E80 - Story of Two Magicians - A Review...
Just got my e80 in today and right away I know I've found the sound signature that I've been looking for! Neutral with great extension down low and high without sibilance. And unlike the Re-400, it doesn't have the murky warmth feel to the sound that irked me. It's just clean, clear and...- vyogan

Yamaha EPH-100
@archy121 thanks for confirming my suspicion! Based on reviews and impressions on the A73, I knew it would be a good replacement or upgrade on the EPH-100. I love my first pair of EPH-100, until the right driver died a few days after the warranty was over. So I bought my 2nd pair and I've had a...- vyogan

Hello everyone! Looking for EPH-100 Replacement
I don't have 4 of the IEMs that you listed there but I can help you narrow down your options. You can count the GR07 and DUNU Titan1 out because both don't have a lot of bass at all. The latter have extremely poor isolation, therefore it won't sound very good in noisy environment (I've used...- vyogan

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]
I've been listening to the Titan 1 for the past 2 weeks now and I've got to say that these sound amazing! The FiiO X1 Discussion and Help and Support Thread |192K/24B|100mW | LO | inline remote
Got my X1 a few days ago and it certainly has more power than the Clip+. The Clip+ couldn't drive the TTPOD T1 properly as the treble was a little rolled-off and the sub bass was non-existent when I listened to Hans Zimmer's 'Why So Serious?' in The Dark Knight OST. Tried the X1 with the HD600...- vyogan

TTPOD T1-E Impressions thread
I've used the Yamaha EPH-100 for over a year now and it was the IEM that I loved the most. Even at one point, when I bought my HD600, I somehow preferred the EPH-100 over the HD600! Until the EPH-100 broke and I had to only use the HD600 and it re-educated me on what a natural and neutral sound...- vyogan
