Though I do not own either E80 or A73, I agree with others. Reading the impressions (most of them are raving the SQ of E80) from those who own E80, it does seems for the price that it is available from FlipKart (cheaper than PenonAudio offer) with 1 year Indian warranty, these are no-brainer if I have to choose (A73 is much costlier option for me).

(Just spent my savings on buying Fiio X1 and Android TV stick +bunch of accessories or else i would have bought E80 already)

Just received the E50s (with the mic) so I now have the E10, E50 and E80.

I guess I must not be that much of an audiophile, because to my ears the E50 are the clear winners. Pretty much the perfect upgrade over the 10s, while being more engaging and easier to drive than the 80s.

I may sell my E80s now.

Whereas this morning I prefer the E80s! Lol. I really am clueless sometimes.

Maybe I just got a better nights sleep or something, but the E80 does sound more natural and higher fidelity than the E50, even if slightyl harder to drive and with a slightly smaller soundstage.  But then what it might lose to the E50 in width, it gains in depth.

But both are winners in my book, so all good.

After using the e80 for over a month, I have to say I really love them to bits! Been using them on and off with my Sennheiser HD600 and honestly, they are so similar in their sound signature and tonality! I've finally found my portable mini HD600! Then again, the e80 is not exactly on par with the HD600. I still feel that the HD600 is magical and entrancing to my ears every time I put them on. Vocals, instruments, bass, mids and treble on the HD600 just have that edge to it. But I just can't put into words how exactly they are both different, apart from their soundstage.

Anyways, I really don't foresee myself yearning for anymore upgrade now that I have the e80. I highly recommend these if you love a more neutral sound!

At last! We now have the SoundMAGIC E80 in stock in all colours (Red/Copper/Gunmetal) at hifiheadphones.co.uk.

Dont forget to  visit the SoundMAGIC stand at CanJam London on the 29/30th August, Tony Xu, the man behind the SoundMAGIC brand, will be at the show and rumor has it that he is bringing along new SoundMAGIC products that have yet to seen anywhere else in the world so far.

Is it finally the Soundmagic HP300? Please be true, I've been wanting to replace my HP100, but am holding for its true successor.

Haven't people been talking about an HP300 for about 3 years now? I keep hearing about it. Might just be wishful thinking :)
