Its funny. I am a bass head. Coming from the UM3x I used to use the black filters on the Se846. After about 2 weeks I evolved to the white filters. Which are supposed to be the lease bass right? I actually found the bass sounds even better with the whites, aswell as everything else.

Sucks they sent you a used pair. If you complain to amazon they would probably next day the new ones to you because they messed up. Amazon wouldnt be likely to shrug off a customer whos spending upwards of 1k.

This was where my initial issue came up with my first set of Shure IEMs. Whats nice is Shure will actually send you a cleaning kit for the connectors, if you ask, that works very well. You might have to do this every 6 months to a year. Its really not that terrible.
