Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
99 Classics vs T5 --- no comparison really ... the meze has SEVERELY bloated bass to the point of distortion. SR2 vs T5 --- SR2 is the more neutral one of the two, has more accentuated mids as well. It is also the more comfortable one of the two. T5 with yaxi pads is on par with comfort...- Nidus123

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
Yaxi th900 pads, they fit sort of loose but comfort is plenty better. If you go with the alcantara version - you get better mids as well and less bloat.- Nidus123

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
I just changed the pads. The yaxi are FAR more comfortable, they are slightly bigger by a 2-3 millimeters so a bit fidgety to get on. And the sound is not that bloated. I have both suade and leather Yaxi pads - suade/alcantara pads make the t5 sound less thick. But I prefer the leather yaxi...- Nidus123

PS4 vs XBOX ONE (What would you buy and why? No fanboy like comments please)
With Xbox Scorpio now announced (Xbox One X)... there is still no competition if you have a PC available that can play the announced games. PS4 if you want consoles, stick with PC-MASTER-RACE for the rest :)- Nidus123

PS4 vs XBOX ONE (What would you buy and why? No fanboy like comments please)
PS4 has more exclusives so i'd go with that. With Windows Anywhere (or was it Xbox Anywhere) you can play Xbox games on your PC... so there's pretty much no contest- Nidus123

Creative Aurvana Platinum / Plantronics Backbeat Pro - has anyone actually heard these and wrote up a proper review / impressions ?
Hey there, thanks for sharing your thoughts - i was wondering if the sound is as good or better than the rivalry creative headset (if you had a chance to listen to them both ofc). Sound flat or additional bass involved ? Are the controls viable ? Is call quality good and do they cancel...- Nidus123

Haven't heard the UE 9000, but hear good things about them. I don't think Logitech makes them anymore and the battery life looks horrible. I was looking at the Plantronics cause they also make very good noise canceling mics on their other products - so should be pretty good with calls even...- Nidus123
