My A900's are great. I can wear them for 2-3 hours before I need to take them off to give my ears a breather. That usually coincides with a bathroom break anyhow. They're great for gaming; on some games it's almost like having a wallhack the way you can pinpoint people so easily.

Artists get stiffed on CD royalties in general. Very few artists can make a living on record sales alone, touring and merch is where it's at.

I based my purchase on the few reviews I found on epinions and then reading the customer reviews from Amazon. I'm pretty happy with my purchase, although I really only use 2, maybe 3, of the attachments it comes with.
