Hi guys,   If I solve this problem, I'll return the SACD player I just bought.     Every time I convert iso SACD files (multi channel) to FLAC in Foobar2000 ... foobar makes it a 44100hz file instead of keeping original that was 192000hz. Why is this happening? How can I tell Foobar to keep...

The files I get are downloaded from sites that share high quality FLAC music recorded from either SACDs or Blue Ray music.   So if human is unable to hear past 24khz why are so many people still collect these huge files?

As a very happy HD600 (Schiit Modi/Vali) owner ... I am now interested in 1 more pair of HP that have a very different sound for different kind of music. I was thinking Grados for that electrifying guitar kind of sound.   For HD600 owners ... what's your #2 HP you listen to?

  haha, I know right? :-) I did the same with a home theater hobby. Spent thousands of dollars on all audio but it took a full year and a baby to be "done" with further upgrade.

I think I am good. Love the sound ... time to stop spending too much time here and enjoy the music :-) thanks guys

  Yea, Sierra (Ascend Technologies) has great reputation. I have the Sierra-1 NRT Upgrade .... very good sound. I have not demoed many other speakers so going by all the great feedback those get. I know that Sierra-1 won many awards in the community ... don't know if Sierra-2 is a much better...

ultimately I am thinking if upgrading to Asgard 2 AMP over Vali will have significant improvement that anyone can hear without paying a very clear attention to sound 

maybe I am deaf or I just like to feel big improvement if I spend double, but sound difference I achieved with $250 + better headphones (HD600 vs HD598) is great. Are you saying that upgrading to Bifrost will have same impact?

  Even if I go double on DAC and double on Amp? :-)

UPDATE: After a few days of comparison .... biggest sound improvement I hear when I compare my HD598 with PC sound card VS HD600 Modi/Vali. Truly big difference. If I can get same amount of improvement by getting a better amp or better DOC ... just point me to the direction :-)
