dual mono is not relate to balance or SE config but relate at PSU config ie sharing the channel....dont mix Remenber SE is always better then balanced at last on headphone ,balanced=pushpull ie different distortions profile and sound ,maybe PP on speakers have more power and grunt but not free...

output of amp is always single ended ,headphones are single ended ,you need a dual mono amp for improvre the sound ,balanced plug with 4 pin give you that ie separate ground between channel ie dual mono .Balanced Dac out and amp input is a totaly another story

speakers interact a lot with amp especial the pushpull that have negative feedback ,the signal is take from spk and send to input ,normally have a coil for load stability a zobel cell that interact too

dumping factor is relate to output impedence ,and yes to me lower dump sound better ...single ended is a tipical ones ,the lowers is like my tube amps....but need the correct speakers an high Qts like openbaffle that is self control ...this is a basic of elettronics and sound in pratical no magic

Ask for damping factor AB is more Volts=power , more power can give you more damping but only on paper A is more Amper=more bias ie lower distortion= better sound no better control edit typo
