I think it's the lack of mid bass punch that gave you the impression of bass light. tbh i do think they lack a bit of mid bass. the Basso on the other hand has too much mid bass for me.

Never heard the MH1 but sometimes description isn't always the best way to differentiate sound characteristics.

Well i haven't been following too closely on this thread, but i don't think i've seen complaints about bass diminishing, but i did see a lot of build quality issues. Maybe the diminishing bass could just be from careless handling?

I just recieved my tenore today. WOW... O.o I was completely stunned by that bass extension coming from fxt90, ttpod t1e, and piston 2s.

1) don't have a vsd3s but i did own the xiaomi pistons 2, currently have fxt90 and clarityone audio. fxt90 ~ ttpod t1e > clarity one > xiaomi. I will say that the t1e is a nicely balanced iem with very good musical abilities.  2)shenzhenaudio is legit.

i don't think fxt100 and 200 sound identical but the sound characteristics should be similar. When jvc released their fxz100 and fxz200, some people reported difference in sound quality between them. Based on that, i am assuming jvc is doing something here.

I don't have a superlux but i do own a samson sr850 which share drivers with the 668B. I would pick the shp9500 over the superlux if you are gaming competitively. the shp9500 are more comfortable and doesn't sound too bad with most music as well.

lol i read up some stuff that causes headphone rattling. one of the causes was hair. I removed my pad and checked for hair but couldn't find any. maybe it fell off when i'm taking them on or off.

I hear no rattle or distortion from my k7xx...Now I am really hesitant on whether I should return it back to massdrop for repair or just leave it as it is to avoid all the hassle.

Considering getting a AD900X because i got a weird and reverby feeling on the a900x and the mid bass hump is just slightly annoying for me. Those are still technically in-ear. I did try the bose iems and they had bloated sloppy bass, veiled and muddy mids and highs for my taste.
