    X5 w/FLAC Destroys Lame MP3!!

I agree, it is all subjective. I also agree that it is hard to tell a difference between FLAC and MP3. In certain instances I can. Those songs that I can tell a difference I enjoy FLAC more than MP3. That's my humble opinion. I'm sure associated equipment makes a difference as well. At the...

    X5 w/FLAC Destroys Lame MP3!!

I find it amusing that some people are saying that he isn't hearing what he seems to be hearing. If he likes FLAC more than MP3, how can any of us tell him that he's wrong? If he likes it more, he likes it more...bottom line. I for one can tell a difference between FLAC & MP3, but only with...

    Question about FLAC files

I'm going to get some music from AllofMP3.com and was thinking about getting them all in FLAC. Can FLAC files be placed on a cd that can play in standard cd players? Or can I convert them to WAV files to be put on a cd? Or is my only option to just get them in MP3 and then burn it to a CD and...

    HELP with my a/v reciever

Okay, I looked again and here's what I've found... My receiver is an all-in-one machine, it's a receiver/cd/sacd/dvd player and the only thing I don't like about it is that doesn't have an RCA out to go to the TV so I can use my tv speakers. My only option is to use the speakers out of my...

Need Help with my a/v receiver

I was wondering if it'd be possible on a a/v reciever on one end (optical out) and have it split to a left/right audio in on the back of a tv set? So the cable I'm essentially looking for would be a "Y" cable. At the single end it'd be optical, and at the other end it'd be left/right or...

    question about online music services...

I have an X5 and from what I understand I cannot use music downloaded from online services, such as yahoo music. Is this correct? It doesn't make sense that I wouldn't be able to download the music in MP3 format and not be able to transfer it over to my X5.

Thanks for posting those pics! Is that the grey Zcover or the black? From the website it's hard to tell the difference between the two also. Looks like grey to me. My IEM's do have a small jack so I think I would maybe have a little more luck. Well, I think I'm sold! Too bad I bought that...
