Three IEMs from 3 different price ranges... Help!
Hello pukapants, I'm afraid I forgot to mention one thing: form factor. I prefer a less intrusive, smaller IEM as opposed to, say the Sony H3's or the Dunu 2000J's you've recommended. Even though their sound quality is amazing, I'm looking for something that has infallible ergonomics and... -
Three IEMs from 3 different price ranges... Help!
Hello Head-Fi, I am a college student operating on a relatively more lenient budget, but either way, I will most likely save up for one pair of good IEMs. I'm debating between the following three pairs of IEMs, found for the prices listed below: - Astrotec AX-60 ($200 USD) - FLC 8S...- AudioAficionado

On Massdrop: Creative Sound Blaster X7 Amp/DAC Combo
Hello all! Just discovered the Creative Sound Blaster X7 on Massdrop. From reviews, I'd placed it right above the Schiit Stack (Modi Uber + Magni Uber), with even more power and flexibility. Definitely something to add to your audio arsenal! I'm picking one up myself. Help Massdrop reach their...- AudioAficionado

Echobox Finder X1 review/impressions/discussion thread
I am a musician, but unfortunately I do not have the most discerning of ears. I've just received my Echobox Finder X1's, and I have to say that they're a lot bassier than I expected, with every single filtre, but definitely not in a bad way. Just in a unexpectedly punchy way, although now that I...- AudioAficionado

M-Audio HDH50 - the successor to the popular Q40
Hello visanj, I can compare them to a number of headphones, including the B&O H6's. Can you list some popular/well-known headphones that you've listened to, and I can see which ones I've listen to as well, so then I can provide you with comparisons?- AudioAficionado

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
Hello all, Can someone please do a comparison between the PM-3s and either (or both) the B&O H6s + B&W P7s? I'm looking to buy one of these three and the ATH-M50x; one for a more airy, detailed experience, the other for general monitoring and DJ purposes. Thanks --AudioAficionado- AudioAficionado

Shure SRH1540 Review
Hello all! I'm looking into buying a pair of headphones from the $300-$500 range, and I'm a little undecided right now between the Sony MDR-7520s and the Shure SRH1540s. Can anyone who has heard both do a quick comparison? (Even better, if anyone can also do a three-way comparison between the...- AudioAficionado

Best $400 range headphones?
Hello all! I'm currently looking for a pair of headphones in the $400 range. I currently just have the Sennheiser HD 448, and it's been serving me well, but I'm looking for possible future prospects for a more luxurious, higher-end headphone. I'm currently looking at the following: ...- AudioAficionado

Keep or sell Brainwavz BWAVZ M2's?
Ah, I did not try eBay yet. Seems that I would need to know the workings of Paypal, shipping, and all of that. I'm just trying to do a simpler sell instead of selling formally through a website like eBay, because sometimes they charge a bit for me to sell my stuff. Gets a little on my nerves. ...- AudioAficionado

Keep or sell Brainwavz BWAVZ M2's?
Not to be a pessimist, but I've been advertising to sell these since September or August of this year, with no results. That's why I was wondering if I should just open them and listen to them myself. I personally don't dislike the sound signature, but want to try something different in sound...- AudioAficionado

Keep or sell Brainwavz BWAVZ M2's?
zamorin, I am not asking for upgrade recommendations. Sorry for the confusion. I'm just wondering if I should sell them at $45 (they're new and the box is sealed in factory clear-wrap). If people think that I should not sell them at $45 because I will lose out, then I will keep and open them...- AudioAficionado

Keep or sell Brainwavz BWAVZ M2's?
Hello all, Recently, my Brainwavz M2's have passed into the void and I happen to have another, new unopened pair on hand. Should I open these or try to sell them for $45 (a little lower than what I purchased them for)? Just curious to what people may say about this decision. I already have a...- AudioAficionado

Sennheiser HD448 VS. Sennheiser Momentum?

Sennheiser HD448 VS. Sennheiser Momentum?
Hello all! I am a fellow Head-Fier looking forward to getting a relatively major upgrade on my over-ear headphones. I currently have the Sennheiser HD448, but I am looking into the Momentum. A person mentioned that the earcups for the Momentum are quite small, so if anyone has BOTH of these...- AudioAficionado

Replacement for Brainwavz M2
Thanks, rock&rollfrenchfries! I'll try to not be swayed by other Head-Fier's about the Hippo VBs now. I definitely not not sacrifice nearly all of the midrange for sub-bass impact. Again, thanks for the review! Now then, does anyone have anything about the JLab J6's? Or JBL J33's? It'd be great... -

Replacement for Brainwavz M2
Aaron, my maximum budget is $60, so possibly the Klipsch, but probably not the Shures. Thanks though! djvkool, thanks for the first three of your suggestions. I just have two gripes: I heard that the Brainwavz R1 has durability issues. Also, I do not have access to a vendor that sells the...
